Jul 1 – South Shore Kids of Steel
The 6th Annual South Shore Kids of Steel Triathlon takes place on Canada Day — Tuesday July 1.2008
As in previous years, it will be held in and around the Bridgewater Pool beside the DesBrisay Museum.
A really fun event, it is open to children aged 3-15. More information is available thur the Bridgewater Recreatin Department at 543-2274.
Schedule:
- 7am – BTC volunteers show up to prepare the site (if you can help, contact Steve Saunders – Steve.Saunders@highlinerfoods.com / 624-9361)
- 7:45 – Check-in opens, mandatory bike checks
- 8:45 – First wave start
- approx 12 noon – awards/wrap-up
Hey parents … if you’d like to get in on the action, consider the Riverport Duathlon on October 19, 2008. Hosted by the Bridgewater Triathlon Club, we will have two separate events — 1K run/14k bike/1k run and a 4k/run/28k bike/4k run. It is open to everyone 12 and over.
