What : Prediction Run on New Year’s Day in Bridgewater
When: 11am start, January 1, 2010
Where : Field House in Bridgewater
Distance : 5-7Kms
Cost : $5 plus a non perishable food item for the Food Bank
OPEN TO ALL. Prizes will depend on the size of the field present. Half the entry fee will go to charity (Food Bank + the perishable food item) the other half will be up for grabs. A good size field could mean a very big pot for the winner (great way to start 2010!).
What’s a prediction run?
No watches, HRMs, GPS or any kind of music device. On the day of the race the distance and route will be given out. Based on this information you PREDICT your time which will be recorded then compared to your actual time. The closest prediction to their time wins. Speed is not relevant which means you have as good a chance as anyone to win! All you need is to listen to your body and maybe a tiny bit of luck! To make sure that no one is cheating we will conduct a friendly wrist check to make sure everyone is honest. Let the good times roll!
This is not a BTC event. Participate at your own risk.
